Welcome to Atlantic Canada Collegiate Golf Association
The Atlantic Canada Collegiate Golf Association (ACCGA) was formed in 2025 as a not for profit society. The ACCGA is dedicated to the promotion and support of student golfers by creating a league to enjoy competitive golf while attending college or university in Atlantic Canada.

Our Mission
Setting the Standard in Collegiate Golf

The ACCGA exists to provide playing opportunities and organizational support for student athletes and club teams in Atlantic Canada. We provide a platform for student-athletes to showcase their skills and compete at a high level while fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

President
Sara Wilson
Sara is a 25 year member of the PGA of Canada Atlantic. Her passion for coaching led her to coach the provincial junior teams, and two Canada Games Teams. She is dedicated to creating opportunities in golf. She brings a proven ability to organize and create exceptional tournaments. Sara founded Metro Ladies Golf in 2013 and is excited to bring Collegiate Golf to Atlantic Canada!

Kirk Markowski
Kirk is a 6 year member of the PGA of Canada, currently a Teaching Professional at The Links at Brunello in Halifax. Having played collegiate golf prior to becoming a professional, he’s passionate about providing similar post-secondary golf opportunities for students to compete and grow in Atlantic Canada.

Dr. Chad Anderson
Chad is a Chiropractor and the owner of Own Your Swing Golf Performance & Recovery, a company dedicated to optimizing the health, fitness, and performance of golfers at every skill level. With over three years of experience working with Golf Nova Scotia’s junior development programs, Chad brings a wealth of knowledge in golf-specific training and injury prevention. A passionate golfer himself, he is committed to creating inclusive opportunities for players of all backgrounds and is excited to help launch this new league alongside his peers.

Kevin Brooks
Kevin Brooks brings a lifelong passion for sport and youth development to the Atlantic Collegiate Golf Association. A dedicated supporter of golf, Kevin is committed to creating opportunities for young athletes to grow through the game.
For the past 17 years, Kevin has volunteered as a minor hockey coach and served over five years as a board member with his local Minor Hockey Association, contributing to player development, organizational growth, and community engagement.
Professionally, Kevin is a Sales Executive with a large publicly traded company, where he brings a strong background in leadership, relationship-building, and strategic growth. His blend of corporate expertise and community sports leadership makes him a valuable contributor to the ACCGA’s mission of fostering collegiate golf across Atlantic Canada.

Alex MacDonald
Alex MacDonald is a PGA of Canada Professional and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with over 13 years of coaching experience. A former competitive junior and Dalhousie Kinesiology graduate, he has worked with golfers from beginners to collegiate athletes and professionals. Passionate about creating opportunities for student-athletes, Alex supports the ACCGA’s mission by helping golfers balance academics with competitive play and long-term development.
